OUR GUIDES

Miriam
Graham
I came to the land of redrocks in 1997, intending to stay for three months. Like many, I was captivated and captured by the spectacular landscape, the unusual lifeforms and especially the sense of silence and solitude. I have worked since '97 as a park ranger at Arches, Zion, and Canyonlands National Parks, as an outdoor educator with Moab elementary school kids and a National Park Service interpreter. When not out hiking, I am a piano tuner, a gardener, and musician. I have a special interest in desert plant life as well as the geology of the area; I am committed to the protection of this unique part of the world through sharing my love for it as well as by educating adults and kids about it
Molly
Taylor
Molly Taylor came to Moab as a river guide in 1991. River running and rock art add to her naturalist outlooks hiking the Moab area. She has led guided hiking tours in Arches National Park for 7 years, with interpretive strengths in area history, geology, botany and birds!
Paul
Mags
Paul Mags loves the backcountry and enjoys long walks when he can. He completed “The Triple Crown of Backpacking” (Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide Trails) and regional trails such as Canada’s Great Divide Trail and the Colorado Trail. His love for the Colorado Plateau grew during a 600-mile+ walk through Utah on an undefined route with no name or snazzy initials, but ended up being a lot of fun.
In addition to his long hikes, Paul enjoys backcountry skiing, dispersed camping in remote areas, backpacking whenever he can, and exploring Ancient Puebloan sites. When not out in the backcountry, Paul is seeking the perfect the pint, eating the most scrumptious post-trail burger, and discovering the location for the best chile relleno. Paul can be found online at PMags.com .

Ryan
Lowe
Ryan Lowe grew up in Salt Lake City and has called Moab home for the last 3 years. After a 9 year stint in Minneapolis, he packed up his family and headed back west to land somewhere his heart had always been, amazing Moab. Currently he enjoys being a part time bike mechanic and a full time avid hiker, biker, and photographer. He complements this amazing lifestyle by spending as much time as possible with his 2 adorable kids and amazing wife.
